There is a myth that consistency means relentlessness: a post every day, stories every hour, a constant stream of something. For most small brands this is not sustainable — and it is rarely what their audience needs.
Consistency is about recognisability. It is your audience knowing roughly when they will hear from you, and what it will feel like when they do. It is a voice that does not change with your mood, and a visual style that feels like home.
Show up in a way you could keep doing for a year.
So choose a rhythm you can keep. Two thoughtful posts a week, held steadily for a year, will do more for your brand than a frantic month followed by silence.
And when life gets busy — as it will — return gently. The rhythm is still there, waiting for you.
